"Aarlon"
About Me!
My name is Aarlon, I am a female White and Tan Beagle (my name translated from Chinese means literally second child….so I am told). I was born just outside Northampton on the 16th of May 2005, and 8 weeks later my owner collected me for the trip to my new home in central London, to join the three other members of my new family. They made sure I got my own passport so I can experience foreign travel with them - yeah, I'm spoiled!
I Love Food!
Being being born under the sign of Taurus does give me a very happy disposition, but a glutton for food. Ready made dog food and a mixer is ok, but I would much prefer to eat whatever is being cooked in the kitchen. In fact I think the kitchen is my favourite room in the house. Once I tried to assist by opening the kitchen drawers and distributing chilli powder, garlic, ginger, and dry noodles. I do not recommend this Fusion cooking style unless you first have a bowl to put it all in.
I Love Mischief
I have now been weened off from chewing shoes, new or old, I did also chew the handle on a leather designer briefcase, and well quite a long list of other things that were not made of leather. Now I have raw-hide chews, but they are not as interesting as my owner's new boots.
On second thoughts perhaps the bedrooms are my favourite places to be. The beds are comfortable, and I can plie the duvets into a position so as to enjoy my mid-morning nap. Mind you the bathrooms have soft-rolls of paper that I just love tear to shreads and pretend it’s been snowing!
I Love Attention
About three months ago something strange happened. I found out that I could talk! Well, bark and mumble anyway. Now when it is bed-time I can stand my ground and argue. They say I am getting lippy for a Beagle my age, so I just roll onto my back ready for my ususal belly rub. I do like to greet people when they come home with my favourite toys. In fact I have trouble deciding which is my best toy, my ball, rubber ring, teddy bear, so I bring them all and expect a game of fetch in return.
Time for Training ...
There are lots of things I have not learnt, like not to become deaf when it’s time to go home from the park, which brings me up to date, and why I am here in Wales at the Royvon Dog Training Schools!
