Dog Trainers - Surrey

Jacqueline Kelly - Trainer/Instructor

Jackie's career includes all the key aspects of canine care including extensive education and experience as a Veterinary Technician, Kennel Hand, Trainer and Supervisor.  Although she is originally from England, her work has re-located her to California, Spain and Germany giving her the advantage of exposure to different learning and teaching environments as well as a variety of approaches to obedience training and behaviour management.  She has chosen to settle permanently in her home country to dedicate her full time and focus on working and living with dogs.  For this reason, Jackie has been chosen as Royvon Surrey's resident Trainer and Carer, where she will be responsible for training dogs during the day and tending to the health, care and well-being of all the dogs after-hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

It is no surprise that Jackie's biggest hobby is dogs and when she is not "professionally" working with dogs, she takes on additional roles and responsibilities of coordinating rescue & rehabilitation organisations, moderating Internet pet forums, tending to her own rescue dog and assisting others with their dogs.  Jackie believes that effective dog training requires a good mixture of work, fun and relaxation.

Jackie:  "The training process should be rewarding for both the dog and Trainer!"

Natasha Kriklani - Trainer/Instructor

From an early age Natasha displayed a vocation for working with dogs and has built on this over the years.  Working with dogs is not a job for her; it is a way of life!  - She was trained at the top dog training school in Greece.  During the time that she was apprenticed, she enjoyed every aspect of looking after dogs: bathing and grooming them, cleaning their kennels and generally looking after their health, and within only 4 months was promoted to Assistant Dog Trainer.  She worked for the next 20 months as part of a dedicated team, training dogs as pets and also for people with disabilities.  In 2004 she established her own very successful dog training facility on the Island of Crete, where she was born.

Through her vast and intense experiences, Natasha has gained an even higher respect for the character and abilities that dogs can posses when properly trained - as pets and helpers.  She also believes that dog training can only be successful when the dog owner has fully understood how to best communicate with their dog.  She, therefore, takes a lot of care to build up good communication with her customers. She ensures that the ability to correctly handle their dogs can be transferred from the trainer to the owner.

Hannah Bird- Trainer/Instructor

Hannah has always had most enthusiasm about dogs.  She has dogs of her own, which lead her into taking them to obedience training classes.  Due to her dedication and hard work, she became a helper at a dog training school, which eventually lead her into becoming a dog trainer.  Over two years, she gained experience in puppy training and teaching basic obedience to both dogs and their owners practising a variety of positive reinforcement training methods which are best suited for individual dogs.

She has a National Diploma in Animal Care and a BSc (Hons) in Animal Management. Throughout her five years of studying, Hannah has gained a variety of knowledge in basic animal nursing, anatomy and physiology of animals, and animal behaviour.  Also further studying including animal health and welfare, animal breeding and animal nutrition.

When Hannah was welcomed to the Royvon team and asked to put together a biography, she included the following statement:

“I am completely mad about dogs and I believe that working with dogs is the most rewarding job anyone could wish for.  I find it very pleasing to see the transformation from an untrained dog into a dog, which is obedient and even more loveable to its owner!!   ‘A house is not a home without a dog’.
